Not so much to blog about so i thought i post pictures of food i ate while i was there.Later will update more when i got ideas.

While i was in KL i manage to eat McDonalds Quarter Pounder. I really like this burger because the unique taste of the beef itself. It cannot be found in Kuching for some reason that i cannot understand.

A&W Root Beer with floats, Curly Fries and Waffle with Syrup is another of my favourites and iget to eat it near my sister’s house. No need to go far just to get the chance to eat such wonderful food only in Kota Damansara.

This is Ramen with chicken. First time i ate it was in March 2008 when i attend my convocation ceremony. The place to get this ramen is at Midvalley Megamall Food Court. This ramen is very spicy but at the same time so delicious.

Setelah sepi untuk masa yang agak lama tema kali ini “Tahun Lepas” adalah pilihan yang tepat kerana ia berupaya menyingkap kembali masa di tahun lepas yang baru beredar meninggalkan kita. New site up!

I just got back from KL and now currently working on new site for Seventh Batch. Basically it is a photoblog using Gallery2 script but right now are just for collecting pictures from past time and current. Also im trying a Youtube clone script for streaming video and for sure this site will eat a lot of bandwidth but i will give it a try because i got plenty to spare. I will update more on those site when it got more progress.

Days in Kuala Lumpur #1

Arrived at Kuala Lumpur Intenational Airport at 6 p.m. While waiting for my aunt to arrive i go around the airport because its been a while since ive been here. I try the wireless inside the airport and can connect to the internet in seconds! I buy a magazine at the airport bookshop on level 5 and went back to level 3 to wait. Later we also pickup my sister at LCC terminal. The new road to the LCC terminal is a bit far although its only beside the KLIA. Arrive at Putrajaya a bit late and i fell asleep after that.

*This is Pulut Mangga. Its a combination of glutinous rice with mango fruit and coconut milk. It is very tasty and not to sweet and to sour.

On second day in Kuala Lumpur i went to my sister’s house at Kota Damansara. The journey took about 30 minutes because we’re not familiar with the place. We went around a few times and manage to find the apartment. The environment is good and the scenery is lovely. Its near to the new Giant Hyper Market and IKEA in Damansara. So its not a problem if my sister want to go shopping as One Utama is also located nearby. Its a big Shopping Complex with wings! Not a wings that could fly but new sections and stores located on the new side of the building. I’ve never been there and looking forward to go on any these days.

New Project:Shop Online@Fuzzniq[dot]Com

Currently im working on developing my own web store. This will be done in Shop@Fuzzniq.com as its a subdomain and will be selling various items. Not sure how to design the themes yet but rite now still doing research on how other store do it. Already can accept online payment through Paypal (Credit cards) because if want to use local gateway need to pay some fee and im not yet capable to do that and sure if want to use bank transfer is easier because when orders submitted and the money already transffered then the item can be updated.! Now in phase of understanding the whole module in Zen Cart script. It have many features although its free. Will be update this post when there is progress.

Till then, sleep first.

The Holiday

Its holiday time! More time to blog! After the last paper i went for bowling and karaoke with my friends and we have so much fun. We sing until we got no voice and still we continue to sing. Luckily not so much people was around that time. This will be a one month holiday for me.

The holiday

The day started a bit boring. Not much to do and just laying around and play with my cat(Jingly). Still thinking when want to take my CWNP & CWNA exams. Not yet study about them and got 300 questions to do. Its about Wireless Networking and i got 4 books to read and try to pass the trial exam first. If i can pass this, it can be an advantage for me in the future. Currently i still in understanding the concept on networking then i can move on to the wireless networking. Because most important is to understand the fundamental first and then its easier to apply when needed. The terminology, the calculations and others stuff like knowing the right way and the right tools to use in assembling networks is the key for passing this exam.

My project

I also plan to start over again my previous project on developing record management system using web based application on PHP. It already half way now and feel bad if cannot finish it. Its a good project because i learn new things everyday while doing the project and i know i must learn more to do it correctly. One thing for sure is if i can finish it then i will be satisfy when other people use it and comment about the system. I mean overall satisfaction is more important rather than finishing the system without any quality that can last for long term.

Today im very angry with my mobile operator because of their attitude towards customer like me.

Whats the Story?

I want to change my current call plan(Celcom blue) to University of X(UOX) because i like the tariff they offer. But after a few calls (3 calls actually) and i went to the Kuching branch (got two in town) im frustrated because of their very bad hospitality to me.

My first call to Celcom Careline (After 20 minutes of waiting and blah blah blah..):

Me:Ya..Saya ingin tukar ke pelan UOX.Boleh tak buat tu sebab saya tengok kat laman web xpax kata boleh dan boleh simpan nombor asal.

Celcom Careline: Ya ..Sebentar ya Encik.Saya pun kurang pasti jadi saya dapatkan pengesahan dahulu dari supervisor saya….(setelah 8-10 minit)..Ya.Terima kasih kerana menunggu .Ingin saya maklumkan bahawa YA encik boleh membuat penukaran terus ke UOX cuma encik perlu tukar ke pelan Xpax dahulu kerana encik sedang menggunakan pelan Celcom Blue.Saya dah buat pertanyaan dengan supervisor saya dan encik hanya perlu perig ke cawangan terdekat untuk membuat penukaran.

Me: YA??Terima kasih.

Celcom Careline:Sama-sama. Ada apa-apa lagi yang boleh saya bantu?

Me: Tiada. Terima kasih.

Celcom Careline: Sama-sama. Selamat Sejahtera.

My Second Call to Celcom Careline (this time not so long.About 10 minutes)

Me: Helo.Saya ingin bertanya berkenaan Celcom UOX.Berapa tariff dan bagaimana penukaran dibuat?

Celcom [Care?]line: Ya.UOX boleh dimiliki percuma melalui cawangan terdekat ataupun promo-promo yang dibuat. Ia tidak boleh dibeli di mana-mana tempat lain dan hanya seorang sahaja boleh berdaftar dengan UOX.(and after several explainations..bla bla bla….)Ada apa-apa lagi yang boleh saya bantu?

Me: Aaa.Ada ada.Kalau saya nak tukar dari nombor sekarang ni dapat tak?Sebab saya dapat tahu yang boleh membuat penukaran tanpa menukar number asal.Jadi saya nk buat pengesahan la.

Celcom [Care?]line: Ya? Saya tak pasti la bahagian tu. Jadi untuk pengesahan lebih baik encik pergi ke cawangan terdekat. Di sini saya tak berani nak memberi kata putus. Takut sekiranya saya kata boleh dan di cawanga pula kata sebaliknya.

Me: Oh begitu.Ok lah.Terima Kasih.

Celcom [Care?]line: Terima kasih kerana menghubungi. Selamat Sejahtera.

And so i went to Celcom Branch at 3rd Mile and i barely get into the building because they already ask me at the door. I explain my intention and with their UNfriendly face and no professionalism they told me it can not be done at all cost. Only new number can get the UOX. So i told them about the calls ive made and they said maybe they operator guy is new and dont know about this matter (F**K with the answer). After all its their own mistake and no one apologize or even care to offer me a seat. So i left with bad words kept in my head and decide to go to the main branch located at Satok. This time its the same scenario as i only got to the Information Counter and ask about this matter and she explain to me and not even a single sorry came out from her mouth. Only the Guard work there is good because he open the door for me and smiled. I went to my car and i call the Celcom [Care?]line again. This time i start with complaining about their rudeness in services and wrong information they gave.

My 3rd Call to Celcom [Care?]line (Damn!)

Me: Ya. Saya nak komplen tentang layanan yang saya terima semasa saya berada di cawangan Celcom sebentar tadi. Dua-dua saya pergi semuanya memberikan layanan tidak mesra kepada saya.

Celcom [Care?]line: Bertenang encik. Apa yang boleh saya bantu?

Me: Saya hendak buat penukaran ke UOX kerana sebelum ini saya ada tanya kepada Celcom [Care?]line dan respon yang saya dapat semuanya positif dan kata saya boleh membuat penukaran. Jadi saya pergilah ke cawangan untuk membuat penukaran.

Celcom [Care?]line: Maaf encik. Sememangnya tidak dapat membuat penukaran kalau dari celcom sendiri. Hanya Starter baru yang dibenarkan. Itu polisi kami setakat ini. Saya mohon maaf kerana mungkin kesilapan informasi yang diberikan. Me: Bagaimana kalau saya tukar ke Digi atau Maxis dahulu lepas tu saya tukar ke UOX? Dapat tak?

Celcom [Care?]line: Oh.Saya periksa dengan supervisor saya dahulu.(Selepas 10 minit)..Ya terima kasih kerana menunggu. Ya boleh encik.Encik boleh tukar ke Digi atau Maxis dan lepas tu tukar balik ke UOX.Yang itu konfirm dapat sebab promosi pun mengatakan dapat tukar melalui MNP. Me: Ya??Hehe..Bagusla.

Celcom [Care?]line: Ada apa-apa lagi yang boleh saya bantu? Me: Takder!Terima kasih banyak-banyak.Konfirm dapat ok!? Celcom [Care?]line: Ya.Selamat sejahtera.Terima kasih kerana menghubungi Celcom Careline.

I hope Celcom will improve the services soon or they will start to loose customers. Like me i like to stay with Celcom because they have the widest coverage in Malaysia. So its easy for me when i go around and i like their daily broadband package because i can use internet when i desperately need it.So i got my confirmation and i already submit my application to switch to Digi using online Service. Will wait for them to call and deliver the sim pack and activate the number and after that change to UOX. Will update the post once get the sim pack.

*UPDATE[21/11/2008]: Today the Digi Customer Representative already called and confirm with me they will send the package in 3-5 working days.Yea!

*UPDATE[24/11/2008]: New sim card arrived. But still cannot use it because Celcom not yet transfer my line to Digi. Already call customer careline and they said need to check back with nearest branch. I think im gonna wait for few days and if nothing happen then i will go to the branch.

*UPDATE[27/11/2008]: Already switch to DIGI after go to Digi Centre. The process took about 3 minutes to complete and the transfer completed in half an hour. Will play around with it for few days and maybe next Monday will change back to Celcom. Digi use computerized systems to process application from customers and this is really good services.

*UPDATE[6/12/2008]: Due to slow service by Celcom, my number is still stuck in Digi. I already go to Blue Cube for two times and get two sim cards but not yet a Celcom UOX user. Apparently they process the application manually by sending forms to Digi and Digi replied back then they can process using computers. Im so disappointed.

This week going to be the exam week. To all Unimas student, do your best and get good grades. Im going to do my best so i can continue my study there. But really is hard to stay focus on the subject as there too many things to be read and remember. I know im weak in maths so i going to do extra work to improve myself. Aim for the best!

And after this exam maybe ill go to KL for part time work. Then i can blog from KL and all the excitement there!

Last Saturday my cat got ill. Jingly got food poisoned. Maybe what he ate while he wondering around the house because he puke. Jingly also got fever and i had to put ice on his head just to cool it down. I give him antibiotic and he went to sleep.

Dont ever give panadol/paracetamol to your cat as it can kill them. Cats are not like human.
