For all Laksa Johor fans and Ayam Percik lovers. There is one cafe near the Maritim at Tabuan Jaya roundabout behind the Simply Sedap Restaurant that you can try. I have been there and seriously the food was not bad. They got the quality in each of their food that make you want to try every dish. I’ve tried the Laksa Johor and the Ayam Penyet with rice. The taste was quite good and i rekemen everyone to try. They got various choices of food but still in good price.
The cafe is not air conditioned and still Malaysian likes eating outdoor. No need to be cold in the night as long is not raining.The interior is simple and not very matching with colours on the wall and table and chairs they using. For who have backpain and cannot sit still for a long time, be careful because the chair got no back to lean for. They using the dark wood square style chair that usually can be found at Satay stall. Yes, also with dark wood square style table and obviously too small for a 4-5 people to share with. Maybe they choose to use it because of the cafe itself is quite small so it look bigger. On the wall they put pictures of food they served and it looks nice because they huge and look tasty and make people more hungry.Nyam nyam!
The services is a bit slow as it seem they have limited amount of workers. I saw the Tokey Kedai also take orders and deliver them to the kitchen and be the cashier. The other workers also a bit slow on processing the table for other customer to sit in. The Tokey Kedai should look into these matter because it can make people run away. I noticed they got regular customer that love to come day and night and this show they worth to try.Happy eating!
